Ridley School District Calendar – The Ridley School District in Pennsylvania provides a well-structured academic calendar for the 2025 – 2026 with around 180 classroom days. The school year opens on August 20, 2025, in the middle of August after the orientation of the new staff. Professional development and Teacher work days are planned during the year.
The students have a holiday on Labor Day, 1st of September, and Veterans Day, 11th of November. The first trimester ends on the eve of the Thanksgiving Break November 24-28 just before the Thanksgiving Break. Then comes Winter Break between December 22 and January 2, 2026, teacher planning, which is a part of the break on January 5, and a Martin Luther King Jr. Day pause scheduled on January 19, 2026.
Later in the year, at mid-February, Presidents Day (February 16) is followed by a winter local recess. The second semester ends on March 13 before a Spring Break period between April 6 and 1,0 with official holidays on April 9 and 10. The final day of instruction will be when it all ends, the last day of school, or well, the last day of school, Friday, June 11, 2026, and since it will always be a minimum day, June 12th will stay as a staff work day.

Ridley School District is in Folsom, Pennsylvania, and has a student population of around 5,500 studying from kindergarten and 12th grade. The district has several elementary schools, a middle one, and Ridley High School, all cooperating and collaborating to create a unified and supportive learning environment. Ridley helps students to build solid academic backgrounds and, at the same time, promotes personal growth with the current student-to-teacher ratio of about 14:1. The district serves the community of Ridley Township, Ridley Park, and Eddystone Borough, among others, and provides quality education to the students in a suburban environment.
The district focuses much on the future preparation of its students, and more than 70 percent of high school leavers go on to college. The Advanced Placement and extracurricular programs, as well as college-readiness pre-materials, assist students in developing graduation-based skills. The district has been performing unevenly in subjects such as math and reading, but it constantly strives toward better results, as well as educational equity.
